Patient Experience Reviews
Even though this was the first time I saw Dr. Riaz Ahmad, I've already recommended him to others! Dr. Ahmad was personable, extremely knowledgeable, careful to listen to my concerns, diagnosed and thoroughly explained the condition, progression and possible treatments. He is one of the all around best physicians I have ever seen!
Excellent
Wonderful doctor. Among UH's best.
Dr Ahmad always takes his time during my appointment to listen to me.
I always enjoy seeing Dr. Ahmad.
This was my first with Dr Ahmad. I was very comfortable with him. I didn't have my records from the previous dr, so he really took the time to ask me everything about my past with my condition. He was very thorough. Nice guy, glad I found him.
Very comfortable visit .
Very good
I really enjoy going to this care provider, Dr. Ahmad. I was very nervous when I had to go to an adult rheumatologist & am so happy I came across Dr. Ahmad. I feel as though he listens to my concerns and questions & helps me the best he can ! I really appreciate him & his whole staff every time I go there !
It was impossible for him to sit because of the epic computer When they had laptops it was easier. I think this question whether they were sitting is irrelevant. I have to think you want them sitting because why else would you have the question. But with this new epic deal it's very difficult. It's not the same as having a laptop
He's very nice & on time. ***
Very good
Both my PCP and Rheumatologist are in the same office and I have been seeing them for quite a long time. I have no complaints or I wouldn't continue to see them.
Dr. Ahmad is superb.
Was treated well, the diagnosis was made, and the medicine prescribed seems to be correcting the situation.
A very good experience and felt very comfortable.
Dr Ahmad is a consummate professional, always prompt courteous and kind
I have the most wonderful Dr ever I am very thankful
He is the best! So kind and understanding. Great bedside manner and ACTUALLY listens! That's a rarity today
*** at the front desk is always a friendly face to see and greet us. She takes good care of us getting checked in and in scheduling follow-ups. She's such a blessing! As for Dr. Ahmad - the best rheumatologist for me! He asks about the conditions, my health, and my life in general. He remembers that I'm a human with a life, not just a patient with a condition.
GREAT PRACTICE
A great doctor; compassionate, friendly personality. Very well prepared for my visit

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
