Dr Hartup did not make me feel rushed and she showed care for me. Lisa did my mammogram for days later, got me in promptly, was extremely helpful and caring, and gave very helpful advice on how to proceed with my care. I am very pleased with the care from both these women.

Dr. Lentz Hartup Is a God send. She listened. She was calming. She is brilliant. We are so fortunate to have her. We need more professionals, caring professionals like her. I'm so grateful to her.

My three appointments, after hour calls, and surgery have all been the best experiences possible for the worst time of my life with my missed miscarriage. I am a new patient to Dr. Hartup and with how she treated me from the first appointment to my surgery was the best care I've ever received from a medical professional. The staff at the ***, ***, and the surgery center in Chardon were all also wonderful. I am forever grateful for how everyone treated me and my husband during this difficult time in our lives. Dr. Hartup, my nurse ***, and *** from anesthesia were the most compassionate for my surgery day. I am a forever patient of Dr. Hartup as long as she's in practice!

The receptionist/office staff *** was exceptional in follow-up in making sure Dr. Lentz-Hartup got the communications from the hospitals regarding the ct scan and blood work needed. Also, she was personable and made coming to the office for the care I needed pleasant. On the day I called to make an appointment to see doctor Hartup, after I explained my problem, she immediately got me an appointment on the same day. I am grateful as my problem was an urgent one. And Dr. Hartup immediately followed up at my visit with her, as she usually does, taking the next steps we had discussed on prior visits.

Exam was so very brief, not sure how she could tell if there were issues. Rather she ordered ultrasound. Wish I would have spoken up to ask her to be deliberative and really exam me, since concerned of fullness which is new. Staff very good at getting timely appt.

Industry Relationships

University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.

UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
