Patient Experience Reviews
Brittany as an exceptional provider
Brittney is the best provider that I've ever had. She is warm, compassionate, and thorough.
The experience was very professional. This was the first time to visit Brittany Barger APRN CNP. DR Gerlach retired!!
Brittany Barger and her team are always very helpful, professional and make me feel like my health and needs are important to them. Thank you!
Brittany was pleasant, very knowledgeable, and listened to my concerns.
Provider was new to me replacing my doctor who retired. She was great!
Brittany was a good listener and allowed me to speak into my Health History. This was my first visit with Brittany, sort of a meet and greet since Dr. *** retired.
I just recently have been seeing Brittney after Dr. *** retirement. I have found her to be bright, engaging and excellent with details.
*** I felt that Brittany was very thorough and suggested good tests that I needed.
Nurse Barger was extremely helpful ***
I felt like this provider thought I was the most important person she had seen that day. She was polite, and was willing to spend the time to make me feel important.
This provider was the best fit for me as my previous one is retiring.
She was great!
I am satisfied with the care I got from Brittany. An x-ray as ordered and I got the results via MyChart, which is fine but now I have questions that I don't have answers to.
Very good experience with Brittany. She was professional and thorough In her questions.
Changing care providers is always stressful. I have been with Dr. Girlach for 30 years or so. Britney made me feel comfortable and took excellent care of me. She listened, she gave support, and took time to see me a a person and not an appointment. I am grateful for the care and attention I received. I would recommend her to my family and friends.
I switched to Brittany as my PCP as previously I was having difficulty getting appointments with Dr. Hernandez. I also have seen Brittany previously and know she can provide professional care.
They were great!
Brittany asks questions, listens attentively to my questions and discusses my health in a thoughtful and caring manner.

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
