Waiting for the follow up visit
Dr.Chen was fantastic, he did surgery on my shoulder and after only one week I have greater mobility and less pain than before surgery.I would definitely recommend him to anyone experiencing shoulder or elbow issues!
Excellent care
Very good
I was apprehensive that a young orthopedic surgeon would have the interest/background to work with a more 'mature' patient and understand the challenges of my shoulder/neck/arm pain. I was reassured when Dr. Chen advised that the majority of his patients are in my age category and Dr. Chen had significant experience in dealing with my issues.
Wonderful experience
Dr Chen was excellent telling me what had to be done. What was involved after surgery and therapy.
Dr Chen was so helpful and explained my problem in a way I clearly understood. He offered a good solution. I would highly recommend him to others.
Great Service
I had made appointments with 2 other orthopedic surgeons and both times saw practitioners who were of no help, and even explained things wrong and said I could not do certain things. I was dissapointed and cannot believe I have to pay for those useless visits!!! But Dr. Chen was amazing and there to help. I wish I had met him first.
Love my doctor, love his staff

Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
