Perry Anarado, MD, is a general cardiologist at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute. He is also a Clinical Instructor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
Dr. Anarado earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His postdoctoral training included a residency in internal medicine at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
Dr. Anarado is board certified in cardiovascular disease. His special areas of expertise include the diagnosis and treatment of patients with coronary artery disease, heart valve disease and heart arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation. He also has extensive experience in preventive cardiology and echocardiography.

My appointment with my doctor and other staff members was exceptional and very informative and professional.

I was not happy w/the manner to which the receptionist scheduled my "stat" appointment. She was told she can access an appt the day I needed it by contacting someone on vocera. She still insisted on only using what was available (and not the day I needed). I then had to remind her the manager said to vocera someone. Low and behold there was appt available. She then just picked a time for me as three were given to her without asking me. She wasnt friendly nor willing to go above and beyond. I was very unhappy.
At the level of UH staff that I interface with they are all very good at what they do.
