About
Jenna Bradesca, MMS, PA-C is a physician assistant who works as an integrative medicine consultant at University Hospitals Connor Whole Health. Jenna received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Scranton and went on to receive a Master of Medical Science from the College of Health Sciences at Salus University.
Jenna began her career in health care in emergency medicine, where she learned to comfort patients in their most desperate times through compassionate support. She has also worked in an urgent care and occupational health setting, where she witnessed the benefit of same-day physical therapy treatment following a work-related injury.
After reflecting on her experiences with conventional medicine and deep contemplation about the future of her career, Jenna discovered the world of Integrative Medicine (IM). She found that she had already been practicing IM in her personal life through lifestyle balance, yoga, meditation and receiving massage therapy. To expand her knowledge in the field, Jenna is currently enrolled in the prestigious University of Arizona Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine fellowship. She also completed a six-month mentorship through the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Vanderbilt University and became certified in Lifestyle Medicine through the American College of Lifestyle Medicine.
Jenna prides herself on providing space for patients to be honest, ask questions and gain an understanding of their current state of health. By developing a customized plan of lifestyle changes, Jenna believes patients have the capability to prevent and, in some cases, reverse chronic disease.
Industry Relationships
University Hospitals is committed to transparency in our interactions with industry partners, such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device companies. At UH, we disclose practitioner and their family members’ ownership and intellectual property rights that are or in the process of being commercialized. In addition, we disclose payments to employed practitioners of $5,000 or more from companies with which the practitioners interact as part of their professional activities. These practitioner-industry relationships assist in developing new drugs, devices and therapies and in providing medical education aimed at improving quality of care and enhancing clinical outcomes. At the same time, UH understands that these relationships may create a conflict of interest. In providing this information, UH desires to assist patients in talking with their practitioners about industry relationships and how those relationships may impact their medical care.
UH practitioners seek advance approval for certain new industry relationships. In addition, practitioners report their industry relationships and activities, as well as those of their immediate family members, to the UH Office of Outside Interests annually. We review these reports and implement management plans, as appropriate, to address conflicts of interest that may arise in connection with medical research, clinical care and purchasing decisions.
