I have seen MANY, MANY GI doctors because of my unique condition and I have been disappointed by most/all of them so I had few expectations for this visit. Dr. Thomas was an exceptional doctor and her bedside manner was superior to most/all doctors I've seen in the past. I felt confident that she could handle my case, despite all the problems associated with my GI tract, and that she understood my concerns. She gave me ample time to ask as many questions as I wanted and clearly answered each of them. I was so pleased and reassured.

The absolute best treatment as always from Dr Thomas and her team. Having recently assisted a family member at a different hospital for an out patient procedure/surgery it was like night and day. Our local hospital could use training from UH on how to treat a patient and organize procedures. This why we are now choosing UH for all our medical needs despite the distance to our home.

Dr Thomas is amazing. I refer everyone who needs a gastro specialist to her. She is so kind and she listens. She is not dismissive or condescending. The staff I encountered was equally kind and compassionate. Wish I could find an internist like Dr Thomas.

All my experiences with Dr. Thomas and her staff have been very positive and professional. This most recent experience was different from most, as right before the anesthesiologist administered the anesthesia, there was an announcement that the building had to be evacuated due to a chemical smell that needed to be Investigated by the Fire Department. Dr. Thomas' staff wrapped me up in warming blankets, transferred me to a wheelchair, took me down to the parking lot and stayed with me. Another member of the staff personally escorted my mother from the waiting room to the parking lot and put her In her car to keep her safe and out of the wind. The whole experience was sort of funny and there was absolutely no panic by anyone, just a show of professionalism by Dr. Thomas and her staff towards their patients. When we were allowed back in the building, my procedure continued as expected, all went well, and the staff was unnecessarily apologetic for the whole incident. I highly recommend Dr. Thomas and her staff.

This was my first colonoscopy and I was extremely nervous. Dr Thomas calmed me and was extremely helpful and provided a lot of information. Her entire team was great and I felt like I retained my dignity throughout the process. Thank you!
