About
Meghan Lynch, DO, is a pediatrician with University Pediatrics of Lorain in Lorain, Ohio, and a member of the Rainbow Care Network, the region’s largest coordinated group of medical professionals providing care to children. She has admitting privileges at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital and St. John Medical Center, a UH partner hospital in Westlake, Ohio.
Dr. Lynch is board certified in pediatrics. She joined University Pediatrics of Lorain in 2014.
She is a cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her degree in osteopathic medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio and completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron. As a resident, Dr. Lynch worked during the spring of 2013 in the Emergency Department and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. Damien Hospital, Tabarre, Haiti.
In 2010 Dr. Lynch published her article on Respiratory Distress Syndrome in a Term Newborn in an online pediatrics journal and made poster presentations on her research to the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians Conference and the Ohio Osteopathic Association Symposium. As a medical student she was active in the local community, teaching children and parents about bike safety and Halloween safety and working with children and parents at a local preschool to reduce their insecurities about doctors and hospitals.
Dr. Lynch is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Osteopathic Association.
