I'm always treated respectfully. I feel comfortable with Dr. Moufawad. He knows my condition and helps me find ways to improve my comfort level. I wouldn't want any other doctor! He makes me feel at ease when I need procedures done to help my condition.

I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Moufawad as my pain management physician. He is a knowledgeable, kind and gentle person. I feel very comfortable talking with him and he always takes as much time as necessary to answer all questions I may have during each visit. I have recommended Dr. Moufawad to others needing pain management services, including another physician I have been seeing for the past 16 years. I am thankful that Dr. Moufawad has an office in my community; however, I would travel many more miles if necessary to be under his care. He is a special physician.

Dr. Moufawad has been my doctor for over 16 years and has always been extremely knowledgeable about my conditions and has helped me to maintain quality of life. He is the most skilled at facet injections, RFA's, etc, as I've had doctors from *** and private practice perform them with no pain relief. Dr. Moufawad is the most amazing in every aspect, bedside manner, knowledge, compassion and understanding. His staff is amazing as well.

Dr. Moufawad and his entire staff are among the best medical professionals I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Their kind approach, informative nature, truly caring staff that go above and beyond the standard of care for any doctor and their support staff. They have seen me since 2006, and have helped me manage my chronic extreme pain for almost 16 years. Dr. *** is the most skilled at performing injections (***). Most importantly I was referred to him in 06', being on *** from another physician *** Dr. Moufawad has provided me with ways to cope and I am not physically dependent on any medication. When you take such strong medication for over a decade 24/7, even taking it as prescribed, you just want to know what your pain is like without these meds. The regulations on these much needed medications made it increasingly more difficult to acquire for those in need, but Dr. Sami always supported my desire to stop taking them, and continues to support me and offers many alternative options to assist in relieving my pain, all the while giving me hope that I can attempt to manage the pain without being dependent on a medication. I can't explain the amazing impact they have had on my life. I experience the same extreme, debilitating pain that I had while on *** I now can take one or two pain pills on my worst day and go weeks/months without. The reason I have been successful in going off 24/7 long-term opioid treatment is due to my will power and mostly the support of my amazing Dr. Sami Moufawad. He has the best bedside manner, cares for his patients and is extremely responsible with prescribing those extremely dangerous medications. I could have been a statistic, someone who could've gotten addicted to these meds, as I have seen all over the news. But with the expertise of Dr. Moufawad and his vast knowledge, I had a wonderful experience on medication and it was so easy to stop. Granted, I experience pain every minute of every day, some days are far worse, and I can't move, but I have tools from Dr. Moufawad to help me, i.e., stretching, yoga, tens unit, yoga balls, etc. He has made my quality of life better, and I can approach each day no longer dependent on opiates. There should be more doctors like Dr Moufawad.

Dr. Moufaward and his entire staff are an excellent team of medical professionals and providers in the University Hospitals system. He has been my specialist for a long time and trust him and his team with my care. I couldn't have asked for a better physician and team. As always, hats off to them.
